I've been made aware that whilst there's been some interest in our little site from some ward councillors, there's a little hesitation to sign up in case membership is declarable as an interest - to address this, I've clarified the "membership" section of our about us section to explicitly exclude partizan civic leaders from any operational or decision making processes that may, or may not occur in the future. Unless they purposely & specifically opt in.
Signing up to this forum as a councillor doesn't commit you to anything except to talk about . As if addressing a resident's association (for example) or other civic group in a physical space - creating an account here is just entering the same building.
