Technically speaking, this forum is now regulated by the online safety act.
This is not a thread to discuss the merits of the act.
My understanding is that I need to essentially do the following as a small, mostly text based, forum:
- Conduct a risk assessment & record the findings
- Review the rules/Terms of service
- Ensure there's reporting & complaints mechanisms
- Ensure the age limit is clear
You might notice that so far, there are no explicit rules or a terms of service document. This is where I need community help - what rules would you like to see & what wouldn't you.
I want to keep this as an open & inclusive space as possible. And if anyone can help with the rest of it, please do!
